About Poor Man’s Gambit:

Poor Man’s Gambit is a progressive traditional Irish band based in Pennsylvania, USA. Bringing traditional songs and tunes into the 21st century with contemporary rhythm and stylized arrangements, PMG enhances the listening experience with backstories of time on the road, and historical anecdotes that influence the pieces in their repertoire. With two multi-instrumentalists in the line-up, and featuring fiddle, button accordion, guitar, bodhran, whistle, bouzouki, flute, vocals, and dance, the band has been noted for their ability to offer several layers of musical depth in addition to virtuosic musicality.
