Fleisher Printmaking Studio Tour in memory of Jerry Di Falco

Jerry DiFalco was a painter, sculptor, photographer and printmaker, who created a diverse body of work he called “visual poetry.”
He was a member of the DaVinci Art Alliance from 1997 to 2007. In 1995 he began working as a monitor and mentor for professional artists in the Open Etching Studio at the Fleisher Art Memorial. He continued to do so until his death in 2021.
Jerry designed and created his poetic images in a tiny spare bedroom in the apartment that he shared with his life partner, Ron Funk. He printed his etchings at the Fleisher. The memorial exhibition at the DVAA recreates the ambience of his studio. This special tour of the Fleisher’s printmaking studio pays tribute to Jerry’s boundless generosity in sharing his artistic expertise with others.
