Markus Baenziger received his MFA from Yale University and his BFA from Parsons School of Design. His work can be found in the collections of the Walker Art Center, MN, the Agnes Gund Collection, NY, and other private collections and has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across the country and around the globe. He has received a number of awards and fellowships including the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship award.

The Edwin E. Tuttle 1949 Professor in Fine Arts, Sculpture was established through an estate gift from Edwin E. Tuttle ’49, a deeply committed and generous alumnus and longtime member of the Board of Managers and Corporation.
