2nd Place Race

Get ready for the most unique race in town – the 2nd Annual 2nd Place Race! This year’s event on July 27 promises a thrilling blend of puzzles, challenges, games, trading, and tricking, all designed to help you secure the coveted second-place finish. And the best part? No running required! Remember, in this race, winning is more important than coming in first!
The adventure kicks off at Quig’s in Plays & Players Theatre. Teams of any size should plan to arrive promptly at 5:00pm. Upon arrival, you’ll receive instructions and details for the evening, and the excitement begins immediately!
Date: July 27 at 5:00pm
Starting Location: Quig’s, 1714 Delancey Street (Plays & Players, Third Floor)
Ending Location: Devil’s Alley, 1907 Chestnut Street
Throughout the evening, you’ll travel a short distance to two other local bars (The Black Sheep and Devil’s Alley), solving puzzles and challenges and playing games along the way. As you complete these tasks, you’ll collect points that can be traded with other teams. Keep an eye on the leaderboard to see if your team can land in that sweet second-place spot. The team that finishes in second place wins it all!
Grab a partner or two (or more), and sign up now! On the night of the hunt, make sure to dress for the weather, as you’ll be moving between bars. The event is open to everyone, but we recommend that all team members be over 21, as all the indoor stops are bars.
