The online opening of the exhibition habitations at the Blue World Gallery. This is the inaugural exhibition of Blue World, a Philadelphia based online exhibition space conceptualized by Kaja Silverman. The first show hosts the works of Eileen Neff, Sam Mapp, Lily Rodriguez, as well as a series of photographs taken by Kaja and co. of an exhibition by Ramell Ross.
habitations explores the digital space by scaffolding intimate scenes in Cuba during the 1990’s, the institutional precision in representation at the Academy of Natural Sciences, and the light emerging from the earth in the American South along the shifting walls of a gallery we may only enter through our devices.
