Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto

The Emperor Concerto is the epitome of Beethoven’s heroic style, which audiences have loved for centuries. Written after Napoleon’s assault on Vienna in 1809, the concerto is a magnificent affirmation made in tumultuous times.
